The day before our gal turned two she had a sweet little princess party! The week leading up to it was so exciting! She just couldn't wait for her princess tea party. I had planned it around Sophia the first as that truly is her favorite princess right now (she still sleeps with Sophia every night).
I purposely wanted to keep it small...and kind of boy free! I did it on a morning when both Sam and Cole were at school. They were just fine missing it as they knew they were going to be there for her real family party (and I assured them I would save them cupcakes)
Eliza was giddy the day of her party. When her two friends Addy and Araylia arrived she was so thrilled. I had wondered if she would have some sharing issues as she is pretty particular about her dress up clothes but she literally took a dress and accessories to each girl and told them they could wear it. She even shared her coveted princess slippers!
It was seriously too cute. These three little girls spent the morning dressing up, painting, beading bracelets and of course having some princess snacks and cupcakes. All the girls there were the youngest in their family with older (louder) brothers so it was fun watching them all gently and sweetly play with each other.
After the party was over suddenly Eliza looked at me with sad eyes and said "mama, I want my friends to come back" So adorable! She really loved having just 'her' friends come. It was the perfect party for her 2nd birthday!

Almost 2!
Purple cupckakes of course...in honor of Sophia the first!
Eliza woke up to find I had set out a tea set and created a dress up area. She was over the moon!
These three were so cute!
Ready for snacks!
Addy from Sunday school and MOPS. I am just getting to know her mom and really like her. Our kids adore each other! It's a match! She's almost exactly a month younger than Eliza
Sweet Araylia. She's a year older but the older they both get, the smaller the gap in their age seems.
She couldnt' wait to blow out her candle.
Loved watching this!
Hugs for her friends
