Mommy and Muffins

Cole's is loving his preschool.  It's a fun, loving place and he comes home with lots of stories of his teacher and new friends.  Last week they hosted Mommy and muffins and all of the mom's got to come in and get a glimpse into what their mornings look like.

Cole was really excited for me to come in (and is now anxiously awaiting Daddy and donuts in the spring).  Cole rotates between three rooms in the mornings (the art room, story room and play room) and have different teachers in each room.  At the end the three classes come together for some singing / worship time.  This morning they condensed their rotation into an hour so we could see them in each room.

Cole's doing great at his first official 'school' experience.  We are just so happy how he has settled in.  He loves being able to talk 'school' with Sam in the evenings and feels pretty grown up!  Hard to believe he'll be off to kindergarten before we know it!

Eating our muffins

Craft time!  We made handprint art and pattern key chains.

Story room!

Play room

Singing time...they sang and song and then sang 'goodbye mommy'  That was our cue to leave!

Later that afternoon we went to Moorlands to pick up Sam and stayed and played for a bit.  Cole has a new best friend named Seth who also picks up his sister at Moorlands every day.  The two love to find each other at the park.  It is so cute to see them together.  They just have become fast friends.  It's Cole's first friend that he has made without my encouragement!  We are so glad they will be in kindergarten at Moorlands together!
