Oh Eliza has been busy! She just keeps growing. It is exciting to watch but there is also a part of me that wants to slow her down!
Recently we have found our toes! How fun - our little girl gets a lot of enjoyment out of playing with her little piggies. As an aside...look at those blonde highlights in her hair. Sometimes it looks like we have had her in the salon already.
We are also practicing our push ups. She is a strong little thing and you can tell she is gearing up to crawl in the future. She can manage to move herself around doing her little inchworm move. She is working so hard to get her little bum and knees up.
First bites! Eliza has been very excited about our food (and even more excited about drinking water from a cup) so we thought we would give solids a try. We had a first bite of pears and the jury is still out on if she enjoyed them. Ironically I tried some rice cereal today and she downed it - and threw a little fit when she was finished and wanted more. Seriously who would take rice cereal over pears??
Eliza will have a new view soon. She is working so hard to sit up on her own. All she needs is just a little more strength to straighten her back and she will have it. She loves sitting up - it must be fun to see the world from a new angle. Funny how in this picture our little girl looks like a redhead. She seems to multiple different 'do's depending on the lighting.
