We always knew Sam had a bit of 'Canadian' in him but it is now official. After a whole lot of paperwork and a year of waiting Sam's proof of Canadian citizenship finally arrived! I had a hard time getting a decent picture of him with his new citizenship card as he kept wanting to hug and kiss the picture of the 'baby' (aka himself at 5 months) over and over again. With all the immigration hurdles we have had to go through since moving to the US this was just another step in this long process. We like to think we will be pretty proficient with this process when we start the paperwork again for Sam's little brother or sister. Now Drew and Sam are dualies and get to enjoy the best of both worlds. I am now the only one in the family without dual citizenship....hmm...gets me thinking that maybe the next project should be my application for American citizenship!
