This year, memorial day weekend was just how we had hoped it would be. The weather was beautiful and we were able to spend a lot of time outside. We bought Sam a little pool to enjoy the warm weather in and it was definitely a hit. Yup, our memorial day weekend was just like we hoped...until today.
To end our wonderful long weekend we were looking forward to a BBQ at one of Drew's coworkers homes. We arranged our veggie tray, packed up Sam's gear and were off. However, about half way there, Sam vomited. Now, most people who follow this blog know that we are very sensitive to this as Sam has had a bit of a battle with reflux at eight months where he was vomiting way to much for our liking. On the way home we wondered if we were having some reflux issues again. However, after arriving back home (and Sam getting sick muliple more times) we took his temperature to find it at 102. The past few hours it has gotten as high as 103. Needless to say, our memorial day weekend ends with us taking care of one very sad and sick kiddo. The little guy is now in bed and we are hoping he can wake up feeling much better (and that he keeps his night feeding down too!)
Here are some pictures to enjoy- you can clearly see the two sides of our weekend.

Jasper loves the bubbles as much as Sam!

Surrounded by bath toys!

Sam loves his new pool!

Anyone who knows our boy knows how rare it is for him to
fall asleep in the middle of a room with things to see around him-
this just shows how crummy he is feeling.
