It was a very last minute decision! At the last minute we made the call the once again head south to San Diego for Thanksgiving.
As the kids had never done Lego Land we thought it would be fun to add that to our itinerary. They were the perfect age for it. Lots of easy rides for Eliza and a few 'coasters' for the boys. We went there straight from the airport and returned the next day for a bit as well as we got a free day with our purchase.
We also spent a lot of time at the beach. Coronado's beach is just beautiful. It was chilly but that didn't stop the kids from running into the waves and getting wet. We were so thankful Sam got his cast off right before the trip so he could join in the fun.
The kids always have fun at Uncle Georges house too. This year was extra special as we got to meet their new pup Lila. The boys loved playing with her and she chased them all over the place. Uncle George made a huge fort for the kids as well and they would hide in their when they needed to sneak away from Lila's chasing!
The boys loved hanging out with their older cousins. We brought along some Pokemon cards and as that was big when Danny and Jake were growing up to they were able to teach the boys how to play and a few tricks. They could have done this for hours.
We loved our time in San Diego and it is always just lovely to catch up with the Luiken family! Thanks for hosting us yet again!
