I love that my kids still let me coordinate their costumes!
I put the bug in Sam's ear that a scuba diver would be a cool costume after seeing a DIY one on Pinterest. Once he was convinced it was a piece of cake to encourage Cole to be a shark and Eliza really had no choice - she became our starfish.
Just like last year we had the Gilfillan's come for pizza and trick or treating. The kids had a ball and hit every house in our neighborhood (minus the creepy one we avoid) and were pretty excited to check out their candy when they arrived home. Even Eliza came along for a couple cul de sacs and while she didn't collect candy I think she liked being with the 'big kids'

We tried to get a few photos of the kids before it got dark - it seems so hard to get them all to cooperate at the same time but we managed a couple!
The kids loved their pumpkins that we made a few days before
Shark attack!
Our little startfish just floated into the picture
Our little starfish
Our chomping shark
I had to use a mean mom trick to try to get a pictures as the boys just wouldn't look at me as they were getting to silly. I finally told them I would eat all their Halloween candy if they didn't look at me and smile. It worked!
