September seems to be the month of birthday parties! We have quite a few birthday parties lined up for the month starting with two this weekend. The boys had a blast at Carter's 6th birthday (Sam's new kindergarten best bud) and Araylia's 2nd birthday.
It was a ton of fun watching the kids and how excited they were! I wish I had pictures of Carter's birthday because it was the funniest party I think I have ever been too! It was a Star Wars theme (picture 15 kids running around with light sabers) and they had Goofy Gideon the magician come and do some Jedi magic tricks. The magician was a riot and all the kids were both totally enthralled with the magic tricks and loved all his jokes. Sam and Cole can't stop talking about him!
For Araylia's party we enjoyed another animal adventure with Animal Encounters. It was fun to see a bunch of the same animals again and the kids loved it just like they did at their party. When we had our party, Ruby the wallaby had just had a baby. This time around, Ruby's baby came to the party and was definitely a hit! It was adorable to watch all the kiddos feed the wallaby a bottle! When we had the boy's party Eliza was not interested at all in any of the animals but this time around it was a different story. She was obsessed with them and Drew spent a lot of time walking her around checking out all the creatures. A few times she sat with me while I held a bunny and gently patted the bunny. I was surprised how engaged and gentle she was - so cute!
So starts the September birthdays - however I think the birthday we are most excited about is our little Eliza's first birthday at the end of the month! Yay for September babies!

When I asked the women if I could help her set up the chairs she said, "no but you could hold the wallaby" Yes please! I guess they like to be held like a baby. In fact, this little gal sleeps in a pack in play in the owners bedroom!
Bottle time!
This little gal was such a hit - so cute!
The boys liked the bunnies but the snakes were what they were waiting for.
Not my cup of tea but the boys enjoyed it!
At Cole's birthday he didn't get to put the python around his neck. He ensured he got a chance this time around.
Looks familiar. Same snake, same boy.
Eliza kept wandering from cage to cage to check out the cuddly ones. She was not a fan of the snakes like her brothers!
