Last Halloween, Sam was pretty content to stick around home and help us hand out candy. However last year we had about 150 kids come by and this year we figured we might have about 2 so staying home wouldn't be that thrilling. We ended up checking out the local events around Seattle and found ourselves at U Village. We had heard a lot of neat things about this outdoor mall so it seemed like a good time to check it out. The place was packed with costumed kids eagerly racing from store to store to get their candy fix. Sam was a little unsure at first but by the end was a pro and would reach in to the baskets to pick out his Halloween treat. Of course, we thought he was the cutest trick or treating lion out there!

Ha. In Davis we had two come by every year. And, they were the same two. No costumes either.
